Playing Catch-Up

Have you ever found yourself moving so fast you feel like you've left something behind?

I have.

It's an emptiness that gnaws at you from the inside out.

Motion without meaning.

Activity without equilibrium.

What you've left behind is your soul.

Your spirit.

The quiet place where you and God meet.

John 4:24 (ESV) "God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."

We live in a visible world but live for an invisible one.

It's okay to stop and let your soul catch up a bit.

It's way too easy outrun your reason for doing.

Isaiah 40:31 (ESV) "...but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."
