Hope For The Hammer

There are so many spiritually hungry people in the world today.
Then again maybe it's always been that way.

After his Resurrection and just before returning to Heaven, Jesus said this:

Matthew 28:19-20 (ESV) 19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

It's what we call The Great Commission.
And it can be a bit intimidating can't it?

I think many of us find it challenging to share our Christian faith.
We're afraid.
But what if God chooses ME to reach out to a specific person today?
Am I willing?
I hope so.

A previous guest on our Total Impact interview segment, Ray Comfort, is the head of a ministry that produces a TV show called The Way of The Master.

The show highlights encounters with real people on the street.
You'll find a number of clips online.
If you have a few minutes, check this one out:

Hope For The Hammer

Maybe this will encourage us to.....

1 Peter 3:15-16 (ESV) ".... always be prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; 16 yet do it with gentleness and respect...."
