White Horse Youth Ranch

If you've been listening to the afternoon show for some time, then you know I have a soft spot in my heart for animals.
One of these days I'll have to post some pics of our 3 packed with personality dachshunds.
But let's talk horses.
I want to give you a heads up on tonight's edition of Total Impact.
We'll be chatting with Amy Meyer.
Amy shares what she firmly believes is a God given dream: to open a horse ranch where kids in Southern Nevada who are facing challenges in their lives can spend some time with these magnificent creatures.
Taking care of them.
Bonding with them.
And of course, riding them!
It can take their minds off of the tough stuff of life.
At least for a little while.
And they'll have the opportunity to see the love of Christ in action.
Right now things are still just beginning for the ranch.
They've got zoning issues to deal with this month.
Funding issues.
The need for more horses.
If this is something you'd like to be a part of, here's the website:
Also, they've got a big benefit concert set for Friday, October 24, at 7pm at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, 5825 Eldora Avenue in Las Vegas.
Several Christian artists will be there including Greg and Janna Long from Avalon, a new artist with some great songs out right now Ayiesha Woods, and Lamont Hiebert from the band Ten Shekel Shirt, J. Teddy Johnson, and the band Kepano Green.
I hope you can check out the interview tonight on SOS.
As always, Total Impact airs at 6:10pm Pacific time.
See ya on the air!

Christ said, "Suffer the little children to come unto Me". Thank you White Horse Youth Ranch for showing them a way.
